WHY IT MATTERS
Xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS) is a ‘dietary fibre’, or 'functional food fibre' and is considered a prebiotic. Prebiotics act as a 'food' that enables your body to grow healthy bacteria in your lower gastrointestinal tract (GI). They help your body customize decisions on this bacteria. (Alternatively, probiotics consist of prepared bacteria that 'guess' at your body's requirements).
