We can also further process biochar into Engineered Carbon. Engineered Carbon has high functional and monetary value as an input into renewable energy solutions. Our engineered carbon has proven value as a key element in super-capacitors. These super-capacitors can be used in a variety of energy storage applications, including large scale 'stationary storage' for wind and solar power installations, and electric vehicle (EV) applications. While a secondary focus at this point, our prior experience in this field can be leveraged as part of our longer term focus.
Initial Target Markets
Specialty prebiotic fibre products will target the functional ingredient market, and the dietary supplement market. We will provide these markets with cost competitive, high quality, North American-based XOS.
